Frequently Asked Questions
Our courses are designed for students ages 14 and older. The main material outside of the classroom are court cases. Although the material may be difficult to read, we strive to help each student understand the material by emphasizing the necessary points and simplifying the stories.
Each class period is scheduled for 1 and 1/2 hours. However, some material does not take as long to go through. Most days, class ranges between 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Students are required to read 1–2 cases before each class, participate in a forum discussion before each class, and complete a weekly quiz. On average, students take about 3 hours a week to complete the homework.
The class schedule varies each semester to meet the needs of the instructor. The current times can be found on the class schedule page.
For students enrolled in the live option, all class meetings will occur online over zoom.

Generally, the role of the parents is to ensure the student’s complete their assignments on time. Halfway through each semester, parents will be sent an email inviting parents to visit with the instructor about their student’s progress.
Parents have access to the class syllabus which contains the instructor’s contact information.
The live option is $450 per class. The one-demand option is $350 per class. Each class lasts for one semester but students will have access to the course material for 365 days.
Live Option Only: For the student to access the course material, the registration form must be complete and the student must have signed up and paid the course fee on the L.S. Courses platform before the first day of class.
If you are a parent and have more than one student, you will need to fill out the registration form for each student. Additionally, each student will need their own L.S. Courses account.
